Location:
Fresno This 2-day, 1-night tour will travel through the San Joaquin Valley to explore the impacts of California’s unprecedented four-year drought on the nation’s breadbasket and what steps are being taken to avert disaster.
As farmers fallow fields, towns receive emergency drinking water and groundwater supplies are depleted, we will get an up-close view of one of the state’s hardest-hit regions. The tour starts in Fresno at 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 1, and ends at the same Fresno location the next day in the evening.
